Yes, I totally agree with this and enjoyed reading your story. As it happens I gave my husband the same compliment (about his teeth) early on in our dating life too. And I meant it. I love his teeth. I later learned it was something he dislikes about himself.

We all want & need to be ‘seen’ and that means someone who sees and loves the bits of us that we might not like as well as those we do.
