‘I can’t now’ and ‘I don’t have time’ came out of my mouth a lot during lockdown Each crestfallen look from kids = sadness & guilt. Sounds like you got things figured out and that the dad-as-provider pressure can be put aside for the important dad-as-dad role, great to read that.
